A new friend, Soheila Vadati, has written two beautiful articles in Persian about the journey of Abdu'l-Baha in America. For the latest, see http://www.akhbar-rooz.com/article.jsp?essayId=44062 . Both are listed under "Resources" to the right.
Soheila is not a Baha'i but is keenly interested in the impact of 'Abdu'l-Bahá on America--especially in a social sense. She interviewed me in Berkeley; Mansour Taeed connected us. I really learned something from Soheila about how 'Abdu'l-Bahá is (or can be) a source of pride for Iranians.
Soheila is a fair-minded scholar and proponent for Iranian cultural identity. If you can read Persian, enjoy the articles; if not, you can still look over them and marvel. The photos are great!
This will be an exciting way to re-visit those special days!
